VGA to TV converter

Many modern graphic cards include a TV-Out nowadays and theirs is usually of far better quality than this design (although the drivers can be really annoying sometimes) but still I thought it fun to try to build this thing myself.

I found the schematic at http://www.sput.nl/hardware/tv-x.html, this site also contains instructions how to use it with Linux (XFree).
Some DOS drivers can be found at http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/circuits/vga2tv/driver_general.html, although these DOS drivers do not support many VGA cards. This page also has a VGA to TV converter circuit, but it is somewhat more complicated to put together, with an IC (chip).

The design is really sloppy and the soldering messy, but I want it to work before I waste too much time on it
